Report under-payment

We are campaigning for the Living Wage, £8.25/hr outside London. This is different from the minimum wage (soon to be rebranded for over-25s as the “National Living Wage”) because it is not a legal requirement, it is based on the cost of living, and it applies to everyone over the age of 18 who works for a Living Wage Employer.

If you believe that you are paid below the minimum wage, this is a legal issue which can be reported by the official channels, and you might like to see the Trades Union Congress’s guide to your rights.

If your employer claims to be a Living Wage Employer but you do not believe that you are paid the Living Wage (and if you are not an apprentice), you can report this on the Living Wage Foundation’s website.
